VOYAGE CHICAGO CITY GUIDE
The Thought-Provokers: Celebrating Artists & Creatives
excerpts from December 6, 2018 interview with Voyage Chicago:
“When I returned to the States, I was ready to open new doors and make more music. I met an alternative rock band in Chicago and as their new lead singer we performed all original material and were picked up by an indie label. I went into the recording studio to record and help produce our debut album and it was during that time that I was attracted to the recording process as a means to take music further. I soon set up my own personal studio and am grateful for where it has taken me ever since.
I compose music for film and multimedia. When presented with an emotion, concept, or visual image, I enjoy the process of encounter and response. Creating a soundscape is where the music begins. The connection is already there… I just need to discover it. That’s the hook for me. And when it all comes together, it often feels organic. I find this very rewarding.”
